The girls made a fun little chick craft and Isabella takes time every day to make sure that they look perfect on the Easter decor table. I think she has a little bit of her moms OCD when it comes to decorating the house, lol.
This video of the girls totally cracks me up. Grandma Shannon gave the girls a Charlie Brown Easter book and they are totally obsessed with it, they memorized it and act it out. It makes me laugh how dramatic they are when they do it.
Eva has been dying to make bracelets. So we made some fun Spring bracelets this week, and when I asked her to smile for a picture-she refused to be anything but goofy. She makes me SMILE!
The girls were so excited to go see the Easter Bunny.
We had a blast dying Easter Eggs. I swear we were just dying Easter eggs last year-and so when I took these pictures I realized how grown up they look compared to last year. They are getting big enough that they don't even really ask for our help with the dye.... ((sigh))....and Eva even learned to write her name AWESOME this week, so we have a super cute egg with her name on it this year. YaY Eva!
Saturday night I was able to head down to SLC with a few of my YW girls for the YW General Broadcast. I ADORE the women I work with and all of the girls. It was really neat to hear Sister Dalton and President Uchtdorf speak. My favorite quote of the night was from Sister Dalton, "Holy men need holy women to stand by their sides." Just a little random quote for ya, but I loved its simplicity. The talks went by so fast because they were all so great!
The girls put out some carrots the night before Easter for the Easter bunny. LOL, pretty sweet! They were so excited to see what the Easter bunny had left them. Between the Easter bunny and Grandmas and Grandpas, these 2 sure are spoiled.
The girls couldn't even eat dinner at Grandmas' house, they were just ready to go on the Easter egg hunt.
We had a wonderful Easter day, I love the spirit of the day and the reflection on Christ. It melted my heart to hear my girls tell me why we celebrate Easter today. Eva got really dramatic when she told me about the HUGE rock in front of the tomb. I love listening to their versions of the story....so sweet!
