Isa turns 5

Seriously, is my little girl 5?
I did a fun little interview with her this week and I had to giggle at her answers because I knew if I asked her the exact same questions the next day, I would get a whole new set of answers. That's the fun part of this age.
Isabella has been so excited for her Birthday! She knew that Grandma T. was flying in Thursday night to spend the weekend here for the big celebration.  Isabella had asked for a Strawberry Shortcake party this year. I couldn't have been more excited about this theme. Strawberry Shortcake is one of my fav's! Me and my mom had a little too much fun shopping on Friday putting all the cuteness together to surprise Isa for her party that night.

We had a big party with aunts, uncles, grandparents and great-grandparents. It was so much fun!

Strawberry Crush...I was beyond excited when I came across these for the party!

Strawberry edible party favors.  The kids loved these (and by kids I mean everyone under the age of 90!)
Dipped Strawberries....totally necessary for a strawberry shortcake party!

Drum roll please.......another one of Chris's amazing creations. He seems to outdo himself every Birthday. I sure love my man. Honestly, how many men would even attempt to whip out a cake like this? I'm so proud!

She loved opening presents, and Eva tried her hardest to steal the show!

The picture below is prec! Isa opened Eva's present which was some scented Crayola nail polish, and this is Eva giving her a hug telling her happy birthday after she opened her present. So cute!
I'm not gonna lie. I think I may have been more excited about the lite bright than Isa. This was a childhood favorite of mine! I did have lots of fun playing with it that night!

Isabella has not put down her Nintendo all weekend, she was sooo excited!

This picture makes me laugh. We finally had to contain Eva because she kept stealing all Isa's presents and running into the other room.  She thought all the presents were for her.

What little girl doesn't love a tea set?
Eva trying to quickly get a piece of that tea set......
cake time........

A little sisterly help.....

And daddy giving his little girls a mani and pedi with the new nail polish the next morning. Once again, how cute is my husband?

And since her actual birthday was on Sunday. We just chilled all day.  She got a babycakes set for her birthday. What a perfect day to break it in!!!
I have a feeling we will be using this little baby a lot!

Aren't they cute?

I think everyone deserves a Birthday weekend, not just a Birth"day"!!

We Love you Isa!!

I love this party! You did such a great job. Kudos to Chris on the cake-again! Ady talks about Isa all the time and has now named one of her dolls after her. Quick question, where did you get your Babycakes maker? That would totally be up Ady's alley.
