School and Dance

Once again I am behind. We are done with summer and back into our crazy fun fall schedule. Isa started Preschool on 9/6 (I can't believe it's the 18th and I am just barely posting a picture of her first day of school....grrrr..)....I couldn't get one "normal" picture of Isa on her first day of school, she was soooo excited she was being silly for every picture. I love her goofiness.

Grandma and Grandpa M. sent her some "good luck" flowers for her first day of school, and she was so excited when they were delivered to her.
Eva was totally annoyed I wasn't getting pictures of her holding up a sign...lol...
Chris left for Vegas on Sept. 7th for his annual trip with his brothers. They go down at the beginning of the Football season and watch football game after football game...they had a blast. While Chris was in Vegas my mom flew in for a girls weekend....and we had a blast!! Shopping..eating....chick flix....partying....lots of chocolate....partying....laughing.....more shopping....okay, you get the picture!

We threw a Birthday party for her while she was here. I decided it would be fun to make her real authentic Mexican food. I made homemade guacamole dip, Refried beans, Chilli Verde, and homemade tortillas. We had so much fun.

Me and my brother Dustin, flippin the homemade tortillas over a hot stove on a hot day ;o)

MMMMMMmmmmmmmmm..... and here is the Shaeffer's Bakery Birthday cake.....yum-O!
I totally had a blond moment at the party. I was so tired (add that to the blond part) and I lit my moms Birthday candles and then I bent down to blow them out....and my sister in law started laughing hysterically.....I couldn't stop laughing, what the crap was I thinking?!

I love this gal.....she is the best mom ever!

Grandma getting some help from her favorite little humans.

Without fail, when Grandma comes into town that means new jammies...the girls were all smiles!

Isa started her first day of dance class on Sept. 12th. She thought she was pretty neat in her little leotard. I think she makes the cutest little ballerina!

Doing her individual across the floor...look at those tippy toes...she's a natural!

1st position. How cute is that?

And lastly, last Friday she got done with preschool and went right over to the High School for the Drill Teams' mini dance clinic. She started learning the dance at 4:00 and they were to have the dance ready for the big Sky View vs. Mtn. Crest half time show. I was nervous that she was going to be soooo exhausted, but she had a blast with her cute little friends.

And there she is on the front on the far right. She was sooo darling. She didn't let a HUGE crowd intimidate her, she had the cutest little grin the entire time. I wish I could figure out how to upload my video camera....but I'm not that techi. We were so proud of her!!!

Okay. I think we are officially updated. Now, I am ready for fall, pumpkins, cool weather and apple cider-bring it on!!!

Cute little updates! I've gotten sooo behind on blogging. You motivate me to keep trying. Your traditions with your mom and the chile verde sound so fun. And LOL attempting to blow out those candles yourself!

Happy day to your cute mom! I'm glad I'm not the only mom who has those "blowing out the candles" moments!

Your girls are darling. We need to get our girls together again sometime.

Happy fall to ya!
