Easter and St. George

So much to catch up on! Well, we will go back to Easter. The Friday before Easter we died our Easter eggs....that stunk up our house for days....Isabella kept walking around the house asking me who farted....gotta love it!

Chris and I got in a fight at wal-mart about "the Easter egg dye" we both got real opinionated when it came to what was going to be the funnest idea for painting eggs. I wanted sparkles...he wanted the sponge paint and "spill proof cups".....well.......

.....this is how well the spill proof dye cups worked.....it didn't...I don't know why my husband hasn't learned to listen to me.....Love him.....love him!!!! The picture says it all....MESS!

Dad was excited that Isa painted an Easter Egg in Laker colors, all on her own!!! Daddy's little girl for sure!
Eva had more fun painting uncle Tony!

Saturday we hit Lee's annual Easter egg walk...the kids love it!!!
Eva dove right in and snuggled right up....Isa just thought he/she was cool...what is the Easter bunny...a boy or a girl? It just occurred to me, I don't know the answer to that!
Then we went back to Grandma's house and did our Easter egg hunt.....the kids loved it!

Isa with aunt Bergen...she loves her to pieces!

I'm glad I snatched this picture..this is so Isa right now...she so's tall and skinny she can't keep her pants up over her crack.......I cant fix it, I've tried!

The best part...opening the eggs and finding the candy!

And, since Mother Nature didn't get the memo in April that Spring had sprung...we took off Easter morning and met up with my parents and brother in St. George to escape from the frigid temperatures in Cache Valley. My sister in law couldn't take a whole week off of work, we missed you Ash!! It was sooooo beautiful down there, and it was so much fun to relax and enjoy family time together. It was so nice to take walks and hear crickets at night, see butterflies, and feel WARMTH on my skin...I came home with a little sun burn...GOAL ACHIEVED! Here are some pictures from our vacation...and of course, I was a total slacker and didn't get enough pictures!! But the girls did lots of shopping, the boys did lots of golfing, and it was nice and relaxing! Here's a few pict's:

Soaking up the sun at the pool!

We watched Tangled a dozen times, in between all our activities!
Played, and played, and played!

We took our bikes down...and chose to go biking on the day the winds were like 40 mph...it was the only day we could go....go figure!
Eva's expression says it all, "mom and dad you are crazy, it's windy...let's go home!!!"
The girls enjoyed the fiesta fun-fun park!

And...I have no idea why this party is typing in blue and underlined...But, Chris and I's anniversary is coming up, so my parents kept the girls at the condo with them while Chris and I took off Tuesday and Wednesday for Vegas. This year is our "Lucky 7" anniversary...what better way to celebrate it then taking our luck to Vegas. Chris and I have been practicing up on our Blackjack so we would be pro's when we got down there. Chris scored some serious bonus points by booking us a Suite at the Bellagio hotel....it was a beautiful suite, definitely one of the most memorable anniversaries.
This was a picture taken from our Suite over looking the Bellagio fountains...
Tuesday night we headed to Freemont Street...I couldn't help it, I had to get a picture with this drag Lucy.....I was so distracted by his/her fake boobs jammed into my neck...AKWARD!!!
We hit the Black jack tables on Freemont street, we played for a few hours, I came home $40.00 richer and Chris broke even.....we had so much fun!!!!
This was the view at night from our Suite.....it was BREATHTAKING...I've never seen a view of Vegas like this!

It was a fun vacation...and I now realize that I didn't get one picture of my parents or brother...we were all playing so hard we forgot about the camera....thanks mom and dad for a wonderful time! Now we are back to the real world, trying to adjust being back to our daily routines......but at least the weather is FAB!!!

What a fun post! I don't think there is a non-messy way of dying easter eggs! Your trip sounds like a blast! And your suite- AMAZING!

So jealous of the warm weather! With all the choices it is hard to pick a good egg dying kit :) You can stand there looking at all the kinds for a LONG TIME! Good thing Nate has no preference so I get to choose!
