Fall Crafting

Are you getting so sick of me talking about fall??? I really am obsessed with it's AMAZING-NESS! A lot of the decorations for our house, I buy in the fall, but I leave it up year round. I don't know what it is, but the colors totally do something to me. I absolutely love the oranges, and red's and deep yellows. It makes me smile year round when I look at it. I have been crafting up some fun stuff. It seems like I always get sucked into Hobby Lobby this time of year, and I try to find things that I can use in my house all the time, not just during these next couple of months. Here's a few things I put together this week, they were really fun, really easy, and best of all....I bought all the stuff 50% off, because the Fall stuff at Hobby Lobby is on sale...bonus!!! Since they were so stinkin afordable, I just had to share...in case anyone has been looking for some craft ideas.

I bought this fun lantern, and put a candle inside. I bought 2 different fall candle wreaths, the orange berry one was a little smaller than the other one that has the acorns and cool greenery. I used wire cutters and cut the orange berry wreath and wrapped it around the candle, and then hot glued the ends back together, and then the larger wreath I cut with wire cutters and wrapped it around the lantern, and then hot glued the ends back together. wola.....
I wanted a fun centerpiece for my Kitchen table, and this was so much fun to put together, and no wire cutters or glue necessary. I think Hobby Lobby has some of the coolest baskets ever. So, I bought this fun basker and just bought different fall greenery like the acorns, berries, leaves, etc. And then I filled the gaps with the wicker balls. You could use wire cutters if the greenery stems are too longs, but I just stuffed the wires into the center and topped them off with the wicker balls.

This one, you can't even tell it's fall stuff, that's kind of the fun with some of the fall greenery at Hobby Lobby. I bought this cool pot, it's weathered wood, and then I just bought some green and red foliage with a few feathers, and I did use wire cutters to cut them to size and stuffed them into foam that I placed in the bottom of the pot.
And, speaking of greenery.....we are starting to see grass in our yard. The side of our house up against the side walk is just going crazy, I think it's from all the sun reflecting off the cement, Isabella can't help but walk past and touch it......I have to admit, I run my fingers through it at least once a day myself. It's been so fun watching our grass grow!
