I knew someday this day would come...but, I admit it came a lot faster than I had anticipated......my sweet little Isa would start Elementary School. Just saying that out loud makes me feel way old! Next thing I know I'm going to be posting pictures of her leaving for college and getting married......seriously!!
I did take a billion pictures of her first day.....here's a few.......
Chris came home from work so we could walk her over to the bus together and see her off on her first day. I had to walk behind everyone because I was holding back the tears. I did pretty good keeping myself together. It helped seeing that she was sooooo excited!!!
It was pretty cute to see Eva give her BIG sister a good luck hug before she hopped on the bus.
When me and Eva got home, I had a flash back of all the time me and Isa use to have all day long before Eva came along and I'm excited that me and Eva get to experience that alone time now that Isa is in school. I think they both need alone time with mom! Me and Eva whipped up some after school treats for Isa. Rice Krispie Treats with an extra special addition of Isa's favorite...M&M's.
Grandma and Grandpa McKnight sent both the girls good luck flowers (Eva starts preschool on Friday too!) Hot pink roses.
Isa had a great first day and she was super EXHAUSTED when she got home. But she was pretty excited to see the treats and flowers!!

What sweet girls!! It is super crazy when your kids start school. I know the feeling about before you know it they will be going to college and getting married!
She looks at least 5 years older than the last time I saw her. What is happening to our babies??
When is our craft night? or when are you coming fall shopping down here next?
