Montana Trip

Last week we took our first road trip of the summer.  We headed up through West Yellowstone and up through Montana to head to my parents house.  The girls were AMAZING little travelers.  They just put their movies in and didn't make hardly a peep all the way there.

The drive up to Montana-through the Glacier Mountains was insanely beautiful!!! Chris and I were in a little bit of heaven-since the girls were so entertained with their movies, we got to just sit back, enjoy the drive and enjoy a little grown up conversation (doesn't happen very often with kids!) lol.

We pulled into Grandma and Grandpa's house about 930 Wednesday night-and Grandma and Grandpa were waiting on the front porch for us-we were so excited to see them.

The kids love taking baths at Grandma and Grandpa's because Grandma has extra special towels and yummy smelling bubbles for the girls! 

Eva finds fun wherever she goes. I just love her funny little personality!

Mom and Dad took us to the Children's museum in Bozeman-the kids loved it.

Even Chris and Dad couldn't help but experiment with the kids science toys.

The girls put on one awesome puppet show.

If you don't believe me watch the video and you will laugh hysterically! We did!

We shopped all the fun boutiques in Downtown Bozeman.  Of course Grandma and Grandpa had to take the girls to the cool Candy Shoppe.

Saturday we headed up to Helena and took a boat tour up through the mountains.  It was gorgeous!

When Lewis and Clark came through this area-they named this the Gates of the Mountain. It was so pretty.

It was so funny because we told the girls as we were driving up to Montana that between the drive or the boat tour they would probably see a Big Horn Sheep or some other cool animals.....we didn't see anything but birds-lol.  So on the way home we thought we would stop at Bear World so the kids could see some animals.

If you have never stopped at Bear World-you have to try it out.  It's fun to drive through the park with buffalo, bears and wolves just wandering around your car.  These buffalo were right outside my window-not gonna lie-it creeped me out a little since the one on the left was giving me the evil eye.

It was really cool to feed a deer.

The park has unlimited rides-that alone is worth going for!!

And this was one tired Eva on the way home...lol
