31 is great

I had no idea what to expect for my Birthday this year. Where it falls on a Sunday this year, I figured it would just be another crazy Sunday trying to get the kids ready for church, running around and....well, a typical Sunday. But my hubby went above and beyond the call of duty and it was one of the most fantastic Birthdays ever! My hubby got home from work on Friday and he took Isabella into town to get me a present. When they got home they had 2 huge boxes all wrapped up. I kept trying to get Isabella to tell me what was in the boxes, but every time I asked her what was in them she would say, "marshmallows and frosting."....oh, I love her! Then, Chris kept saying, "you need to open one of your presents tonight." I kept saying, "No, then I won't have any presents on my Birthday." But, he kept insisting that I opened a present...so I caved. And my hubby got me a.......

LAPTOP computer.....I was so happy I cried. Our home computer takes me about 20 minutes to boot up and about another 10 minutes to get an e-mail sent. I have been wanting a new laptop for awhile now, but knew it wasn't in the budget to just go out and buy one. I have NO CLUE how he pulled this off. I pay the bills, no money is missing from our checking account, our credit card has no charges.......I even asked him if he stole it, LOL! He will not tell me how he accomplished this. It's totally bugging me, but it's soooo fun that I don't know how he did it! There's not one normal picture of me opening this present....I was THAT excited.....this is my Napolean Dynamite look a like picture, "Yes.........."

Chris probably didn't realize that by giving me a laptop for my birthday, meant that I was going to have him rearrange the entire living room over the weekend....LOL, I know, how is that even related? But, I had this huge armouire in the living room to house the computer and it took up so much space. But, now it's gone!!!! So, I went and bought some cute vinyl for under our pictures, and we rearranged our living room and I LOVE it! I love that the huge eye sore is officially outta here!

Well....Friday night, my hubby just wanted me to enjoy my present, so he found something on ESPN to watch, and I used all my Christmas I-tunes gift cards, and had a blast setting up my new computer!!!!! Saturday the spoiling continued and Chris's parents took me to lunch. They kept saying, "You pick, you can go wherever you want. So everyone made fun of me when I picked Cafe Rio, but it really is my FAVORITE!!! I can scarf down one of those huge chicken salads like it's no one's business....yum! Then Chris and I went to the Verizon store and I got me a new phone.....I have had the crappiest cell phone 4-EVER, so I was soooooo excited to get a new phone. Then that night, Chris's parents took the girls for a couple of hours and Chris took me to Coppermill for the yummiest dinner and my other favorite thing....TURTLE CAKE! It was so nice just the 2 of us! We decided we don't go out alone enough! I think the entire meal I kept bugging him to give in and tell me how he pulled off the whole Laptop thing, and he would just giggle! Then, we came home put the kids to bed, snuggled and watched a movie.
Sunday, I continued to get spoiled. I woke up to the kids and Chris singing me the cutest Happy Birthday song ever! Then,, I got to open the present from the girls. It was a laptop case and a wireless mouse. Wahoo! Then after church we went to Chris's parents house and Shannon made me my favorite meal, Ham and Relief Society potatoes, and Chris and Isabella made me my favorite Chocolate and marshmallow brownies.

Then we ended the night with a SKYPE phone call to my parents, and it was so fun to see their faces, I miss em like crazy! It was the best birthday, I feel like one LUCKY gal! Thanks for all the phone calls, texts, and e-mails, it really made my day!
