County Fair Fun

Biking has become our family's newest addiction. We look forward to taking a bike ride every night after dinner. The kids love it, and it's become part of our nightly bedtime ritual. The kids are asleep before we even get them home. BONUS! I guess it's time to start putting them in their PJ's before we leave, LOL! It's so relaxing and I have loved the time with my hubby and sweet girls. I happened to take a picture of the girlies after one of our bike rides this week, they snuggle up and fall asleep on each other's shoulders, and it just melts my heart! Even dad can't help but look back and just giggle when he sees them like this.

This weekend was the county fair. The girls had a blast. We had quite an exciting adventure on the way to the fair. We were trying to find a parking spot close to the fair, and we were getting ready to do a U-turn and head back closer to parking. There was the most random ditch next to the sidewalk, and sure enough, with our luck our car found it. It was completely covered with weeds (and hello, right next to the road). We ended up in the ditch, the one side of our car wasn't even touching the ground. But, it was one of those situations that makes you appreciate people. There happened to be 3 adults walking right next to us when it happened. One of the men was walking with a cane, was covered in tattoos, was missing some teeth, and had a shaved head. I have come across so many situations like this in my life, and I am constantly reminded to never pre-judge. This handicapped man was down on the ground trying to figure out how to tow us out, he was the sweetest guy. I love lifes little reminders, that there are wonderful people in this world that are willing to help any stranger that crosses their path.

We got to the fair and Isabella wanted to take a ride on her favorite ride, the carousel. Every time she circles around she gives me a cheesy grin and a wave, I LOVE it!

The kids loved looking at all the animals. It's sooo funny how different Isabella and Eva are. Isabella wanted to be about 5 feet away from all the animals so they couldn't get her. A Rooster stuck it's head out of the cage right next to her, and I thought she was going to have a heart attack!!

Eva on the other hand, wanted to be part of the action, and touch all the animals.

We left the fair with candy apples and 2 tired little girls, it was a success!!!

We sure miss the Cache County Fair. Dad misses the corn dogs and curly fries and I miss the carmel apples.

Love the pictures!

I don't know what I did without my bike trailer for the girls! Those things are so nice. I love the sleepy pic! I haven't been to the County Fair for YEARS. That is one unique place for sure. My family would have been the one to get stuck in the ditch too! I swear that's how my luck goes. :) I'm glad you guys had fun.

The picture of the girls sleeping on each other is so sweet. That stinks you got stuck in the ditch- but true about reminders about pre-judging people. We also did the fair up big time. It is always a fun weekend!
