Terrible Two Update

It was so fun to read everyone's comments and opinions on the "Terrible Two's". It's definately exciting times. I must say that the week I posted that, was and has been by far her worst week yet. She has been a hoot this last week. The tantrum's aren't gone, but I have noticed that they are limited to "time to get dressed" time. The kid either wants to run around naked or be left in her PJ's all day, who can blame her?

I thought I must share a video of this crazy little thing. It's not the best quality because it was recorded on Chris's phone, but still hilarious.

I have definately tried to focus on the positive to see if it helps with her and my attitude. We sing alot of "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree", she's very good at that. And I have kind of followed her lead, when she seems irritated that I am doing chores or not paying attention to her, I try to stop what I am doing and just sit down and talk to her. It's amazing how much we ignore our kids, not even meaning to. The other day, I stopped doing laundry because Isabella climbed into the dryer. I had lots of laundry I needed to throw into the dryer, but I told myself it could wait. She spent an hour in there organzing all the socks for me. It just made me smile, and confirmed that I needed to "chill out" and just have fun. I'm glad she reminds me often!
