Yes, it was a lacrosse ball. Little did I know how much damage could be done to one's car by such a small little ball. So, I got to my in-laws house and sure enough, our car that is only 11 months old, now has a nice ball dent. I filed a report with the local police man. He said to call the school sheriff the next day and have them take care of it. I called the sherriff, he said there was nothing they could do about it because the lacrosse team is a "club" and not an organization so they are not insured by the school. Yes, you can probably see where all of this is going. So they gave me the # to the lacrosse team's coach and said to call him, and if we still weren't satisfited with his answer, then they said to call small claims court. Well I called the lacrosse coach and left a friendly message (and I'm not saying that sarcasticly), I really am trying to be civil about the whole thing. I haven't heard a response from the lacrosse coach yet. Okay fellow bloggers, any suggestions, do I buck up and pay the $65.00 it costs to pop a dent or do I move forward and make someone take responsibility? I know it seems like a no brainer, but I hate being a stinker and causing a fuss. Unless any of you know a good dent popping place that does it for cheaper? Oh what a pain!
Enough about my car problems, what about Idol this week? I found this picture on TMZ.com and I couldn't help but laugh. Amanda is just too much for me to watch. I don't even think she can sing that good. And does anyone have any comments about her weird dancing style, I just don't get this chica.
"Don't say her name 3 times."
Does anyone else have a problem snacking while watching Idol. I don't know what it is about this show that makes me think I need to snack, but I can down half a bag of Cadbury mini eggs in one episode. Wow, I can feel my cheeks getting chubbier as I type (and I'm not talking about the ones on my face).
And, last but not least, speaking of chubby cheaks, I whipped out the camera this week and was able to capture some cute pict's of Isa and her dad. She is so wrapped around his fingers! Saturday we went to get her ears pierced and Chris just kept driving around the mall parking lot saying, "It's just so mean, I don't know, it's just so mean." Finally we parked the car and he made me call my friend Michelle, who just pierced her girls ears not to long ago. I guess to find out if there was a slight chance she wouldn't come out alive. Well,Chris heard her say that it was $30.00. Chris said, "Well, that's too much, maybe another day." I tried not to giggle all the way home, Chris is never concerned about a whopping $30.00, he just couldn't admit that he didn't want to see his little girl cry. I thought it was too cute

Why don't you just have Mike take your dent out for you. He won't charge you and then you have to come down! Good deal. I also hate the rocker girl on Idol. I can't get over how much they like her ever week. Seriously...
Um, I wouldn't pay for that! Your car is too cute to be dented in like that! :) About the earrings...I have been dabating on wether or not to get Sienna's done too. Adyson was 3 when she got hers done and it wasn't too bad. Amy may have to fill you in on the details about how she talked Adyson into peircing her ears....
OK....about Adysons ears being pierced....I thought it would be no big deal, but then she started crying and it absolutly broke my heart!!! I felt like the worst aunt cause I told her it wouldn't hurt! Also, I almost peed my pants on the Beetlejuice picture! Oh, that's some funny stuff!!!
Hey, I would be so pissed about the dent and would not pay to have it fixed. Keep calling the coach every couple hours leaving messages, he would love that. Lol- I would love to help you do the 3 column thing.
Melissa- thank goodness for the school website. I have enjoyed looking over your blog every now and again. I am with you on the Cadberry eggs. They are not helping me getting the baby weight off. And Isa is so darling.
WELL I WOULD SEE IF THE COACH CALLS YOU BACK AND SEE WHAT HE SAYS. OR JUST MAKE CHRIS TALK TO THEM... THE EASY WAY OUT... VERY CUTE PICTURES YOUR LITTLE ONE HAS SO MUCH HAIR. I LOVE IT.. CAN SHE SPARE SOME FOR JORDYN... HAHA IM GALD YOU FOUND MY BLOG...
Wow, what a week you poor girl. You can try popping out your dent with a toilet plunger ( no i'm not kidding) but call the coach again and see what can be done... not worth small claims court. lacross should come with a tall fence.
THANK-you! I was wondering if I was the only one who was going nuts over Amanda! she makes me crazy. awesome pic. comparison! that was just funny! she needs to go!
I too have debated about getting Zoey's ears done. Paul wants me to wait until she is old enough to decide weather she wants them or not. ( plus he freaks out about the price!) good luck with that one!
Hooray for ALL Easter candy (besides peeps), the cadbury eggs, robin eggs, peanut butter eggs, AHHHHH when to stop!
I also don't like the rocker girl on idol, she is weird.
I can't beleive SV doesn't take any responsibilty for that. Maybe a lacross ball can somehow make it's way to the coaches car. J/k! Anyways, about the AI skunk chic, it might help if I could understand any words that she sang. It's just all muble, jumble. She must have a lot of friends back home.
I swear easter candy is worse than Christmas candy for me. I eat soooo much of it! I had better get my "cheeks" back on my treadmill soon!! Sorry about the lacross drama. I wouldn't pay for it. Just keep calling or show up to the next practice...
Darling pic's of Isa. I'm totally with Chris on the ear piercing. Still, after three years, I can barely handle shots!
Melissa!
She is so cute in her hair clips. I want you to email me pics of your little girl with the hair flowers she is BEAUTIFUL! She is the perfect little model!
I don't think you should have to pay for that dent for sure! Your car was just an innocent victim!!
Be firm and persistent and see what happens with the coach- who knows maybe he'll take responsibility and help you out!
Good luck!!
Sorry to hear you had a tough week. About the dent on your car, remain calm as you work it out with the coach. If he is unwilling to take responsibility, then take it to the next level. Now, about Cadbury eggs. I am so sorry we included Cadbury eggs in our family food storage - I take full responsibility on getting you hooked as a child, and now as an adult. By the way, they are totally sold out here (I have gone to 9 stores already searching out bags), so feel free to surprise me with a bag or two in the mail (hee, hee). Love, Mom
I would have to say that cadbury mini eggs are one of my favorites! Easter candy is a hard one for me too- I find myself snacking on it all the time- I've got to stop! love the pictures- she is such a cute little girl. the girl who took them did a great job. Steve Mackley is such a great photographer, I haven't seen him for a long time. He did our wedding pictures. I'm with chris too on the ear piercing- that would be a hard thing to do!
I'll fix your dent for free Melissa, just need to remember to bring my tools up next time --Mike
